Building Surveys.
The Building Survey is a detailed investigation and assessment of the construction and condition of a building. The survey includes details of the structure, fabric, finishes and grounds, and will include reference to visible defects and appropriate guidance on repair.
 
You will usually need this type of survey if, for example, the property was constructed before 1940, unusually built or run-down. If the property has been extended or altered, or if you are planning a major conversion or renovation this survey will be the most helpful.  It is essential that you fully understand the condition of the property and your potential liability for the cost of repairs. 

In a similar manner to the homebuyer's report, the  building survey provides an expert account of the property's condition and highlights any problems in clear and easy to understand language including a clear and easy to understand 'traffic light' rating system to clearly illustrate  the properties general condition.

No repair is currently needed. The property must be maintained in the normal way.
